The time period MDPE, or medium-density polyethylene, describes a form of polyethylene that falls into the medium-density range with a density of 0.926–zero.940 g/cm³. Catalysts like metallocene or chromium/silica are used to generate it. MDPE is well famend for its amazing stability and chemical resistance at room temperature, wherein it does not disintegrate.
MDPE has very good drop resistance and shock resistance. It is less sensitive and has a higher stress-cracking resistance than HDPE.
